Well versed in all things community service related. The Officer finds events and activities for the battalion to do for community service, making sure we meet our quarterly goals.
We Handle:
Community Service Events (Field Trips, Belair Clean-Up)
Tracking service hours for ALL cadets
Informing command staff and instructors of any community and school service opportunities on a timely basis

PGCPS Service Learning Opportunities:
This department consists of the Community Service Officer (CSO) and Community Service Assistant (CSA).
The Community Service Department determines, develops, and organizes community service activities that are in accordance with the hours required to receive the community service ribbon.
To earn service hours, join the Belair Clean-Up every Friday from 14:30-15:00 at the ROTC classroom.
All students of Bowie High School are welcome to join the clean-up.
