We are an Area 4 NJROTC High School. In the homelands of the Annapolis Naval Academy. The Bowie High School NJROTC Battalion, located in Area 4 is a program that prepares Cadets for leadership roles, giving practical lessons that help them develop into active and engaged learners and leaders. The program promotes academic achievement and leadership development, providing cadets with skills that they will use for the rest of their lives.

These individual cadets are the battalion’s core members. They are the battalion’s most entrusted group of people who have been put to the test and were then given the responsibility of carrying the rest of their comrades on their backs as they march on forward to become a distinguished unit.

Education happens within the context of a larger community. Our approach extends beyond the school to help ensure students have the necessary support to do their best learning.
