VOLUNTEER MANUAL
The 2023 PGA Championship Volunteer Manual includes important details regarding on-site information, policies, volunteer headquarters, digital training and much more!
We recommend that you bookmark this site for future reference.
Volunteers are the spirit of this Championship. From the bottom of our hearts, the PGA of America would like to thank you for the enthusiasm and energy you are contributing to make this the best Championship yet. We are grateful to have you on this journey with us. The success of this Championship would not be possible without your devotion to excellence.
Unfortunately, you won’t be teeing it up this week with the pros, but we hope this manual will assist you with all things volunteering for the Championship.
Being a volunteer does not simply mean raising your arms to keep the gallery quiet or bagging merchandise in the PGA Shops. Being a volunteer at the Championship means you’re an AMBASSADOR .
As an ambassador, you represent not only the Championship but the host site, the committee you are a part of, your fellow volunteers and most importantly, yourself. We ask that you approach every situation in a gracious manner allowing everyone to enjoy a positive lasting impression.
Being an ambassador requires that you wear your personalized non-transferable credential and official volunteer headwear at all times.
We want everyone who attends the Championship to have a tee-rific experience so while being an ambassador, remember the four-letter word “GOLF”. First impressions are lasting impressions, so please help make the Championship a “Hole-In-One” for everyone!
