We are decorating Mrs. Jussila's wall to communicate who we are as a class! In this project you will use the vinyl cutter to create a 15"x7" graphic that will be placed on a cinder block in Mrs. Jussila's room. You may provide additional items, such as photographs, to your cinder block, but you must consider this in your design.
Ideas:
Collage - fill your space
ONE word challenge (one specific word that will guide you throughout the year as you make decisions, pursue your goals, and work to create the life that you want to live)
Who are you as a character? Ex: Luna Lovegood symbolism
Mindset mantra: “Let it be”
Visualize your joy: -Family photo? Graphic of something you enjoy?
Setting that speaks to you Ex: London skyline
Design Considerations:
All images and words must be school appropriate
Use your space effectively, this is your time to show off who you are, make sure you can see it from a distance
Use a font that enhances your image (cursive for elegance, handwriting for playful, serif fonts for formal)
If you want to cut imagery on the vinyl cutter it must be BLACK AND WHITE CLIPART - think simple shapes and bold lines. Mr. Lamp will ask you to redesign an image if it will not work on the machine - simple is always better with the vinyl cutter
