The Stop & Shop
- proudly serving Costa
Come and grab a freshly-ground coffee, hot chocolate or Costa iced drink, plus a full range of speciality teas. We also have a ‘grab & go’ range of breakfast wraps, paninis, sandwiches, handmade cakes and pastries.
The Refectory
A bright and airy space, with plenty of seating, for you to sit and eat food brought from home and bought in other outlets.
Exe Cafe
The Exe Cafe is a bright modern café open to the students, staff and general public, serving a delicious range of handmade cakes, light lunches as well as hot beverages.

LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES
Our Learning Technologies and Library Services offer relaxed, quiet and comfortable places to study. They provide a variety of private study spaces and the opportunity to use the colleges' Chromebooks, or, if you prefer, you can use your own devices. There will always be a friendly member of staff on hand to help.

The Library
What can you borrow from the Library?
With your student card you are allowed to borrow up to eight items at a time, including:
Books
Journals
Chromebooks
Headphones
You must return your items on time to avoid fines. You will be emailed reminders!
If you can’t find what you are looking for in our Library, many of our journals and resources can be found online via the Petroc Learning Technologies and Library Services Moodle page.
The Tech Hub
The Tech Hub has plenty of space for you to do your work, or if you prefer to work in a quiet environment, our Silent Study computer room is always available for you to use. There are also two group rooms that you can book out, either online through the Library Services Moodle page or by asking one of our team. These rooms are great for group projects as they each have a computer and plenty of table space to work on.
Whilst working in the Tech Hub, if you need to work on a computer, why not try out a Chromebook? With our self issue station you have the ability to loan out a Chromebook for four hours, and renew your loan whenever you want. But don’t worry there is always a friendly member or staff on hand if you need some help.
From the Tech Hub you can also hire out media equipment such as ipads, cameras and tripods - just speak to the member of staff at the front desk.
We can also print out a replacement student ID badge if yours is lost or broken.
Study Spaces
There is always a friendly member of staff around to offer support and give guidance with any of your queries or problems. If you forget your password, don’t worry our team can help you reset it whenever you need.
Our team also provide new learners with an online induction to the college and our services, this includes a virtual reality tour of the Learning Technology and Library Services areas across all three sites.

LEARNING RESOURCE CENTRE:
In the Learning Resource Centre you will find computers and Chromebooks that can be used for studying. We also have large study spaces where you can use your own devices.
