Welcome to A-Level Politics

An activity for you to try at home

The Presidency Petroc PACE

As Jon mentioned in the introductory video, he would like you to engage in an activity set around US Presidents.

Please make a copy of these slides (open them, click 'File', then 'Make a Copy').

Work through the 4 tasks set at the start of the powerpoint and work through them, learning about the presidency powers, limitations, history and how this compares with the UK.

Visit to UK Parliament

Last year our A Level Politics students had the opportunity to visit the House of Commons and House of Lords. They visited the Parliament Education Centre and had a guided tour of Westminster. Students were also given some free time to go explore London while on their educational visit!
