Producer

As the producer of our show, you will have two main responsibilities:

  1. supporting ALL students during class as they prepare the show

  2. directing the anchors from behind the tricaster during filming

1. Complete the Producer's Checklist while you:

➡ check in with the following teams during class to make sure they are on task and getting the show ready:

  • Floor Managers

  • Script / Anchors

  • Graphics

  • PSA teams

  • Sports / Weather

  • TriCaster / Bus / Audio / Teleprompters

➡ are the contact person when students have questions:

  • Answer the question for them, if possible.

  • Find another student who can answer it.

  • Check the KTV website.

  • Use Google to find the answer.

  • Last resort: ask the teacher.


➡ help your classmates maintain a calm, focused work environment.

2. During filming, stand behind the TriCaster and signal to the directors so the anchors know when to start speaking.
