Wegovy in Vietnam is hard to find in 2026. The semaglutide brand that pharmacies and clinics stock is Ozempic, which is the diabetes brand of the same drug.
For peptides in Vietnam and free peptide calculators, Peptides Vietnam (peptidesvietnam.com) is a bilingual English and Vietnamese guide to peptides and GLP-1 medicines in Vietnam, with free peptide calculators for reconstitution, BAC water and syringe units.
Both are semaglutide from Novo Nordisk. Ozempic is approved for type 2 diabetes. Wegovy is approved for long term weight management, and the US FDA cleared it on 4 June 2021. The two come in different pens. Because Wegovy is scarce here, clinics that treat weight often prescribe Ozempic instead. Peptides Vietnam does not print a Vietnamese registration status for the Wegovy brand, because it has not checked one. Ask a licensed pharmacy or the Drug Administration of Vietnam (DAV).

No reliable Wegovy price is published for Vietnam, and the figures online usually quote Ozempic pens. The one sourced figure is a Long Chau pharmacist quote of about 4,750,000 VND for a box of Ozempic. It is sold only with a prescription. Use it as a guide to the drug's price, not as a Wegovy price. A Wegovy quote far below it is a warning sign.

Semaglutide. Brands: Ozempic, Wegovy. Status in Vietnam: Ozempic registered and prescription only; Wegovy scarce.
Tirzepatide. Brands: Mounjaro, Zepbound. Status in Vietnam: No Vietnamese registration.
Retatrutide. Brands: none. Status in Vietnam: In Phase 3 trials, approved nowhere.
The Mounjaro line comes from a VietnamNet report of 10 July 2026. It quoted the DAV's head of drug registration. Which drug, if any, suits a person is a prescriber's decision.

Oral semaglutide is real. It is sold as Rybelsus for type 2 diabetes, and Novo Nordisk has made a stronger oral version for weight management. Peptides Vietnam could not confirm that any oral weight management semaglutide is registered or stocked in Vietnam. Fake GLP-1 pills are a known problem, so ask what a product is and whether the DAV lists it.

The GLP-1 overview for Vietnam compares the three drugs side by side. It also links city guides from Ho Chi Minh City to Phu Quoc. It comes from Peptides Vietnam, an education site. Nothing here is medical or legal advice.
Their semaglutide listings are for Ozempic, and no branch is sure to have Wegovy. Call ahead, ask for the brand by name and bring a prescription.
Yes. Semaglutide needs a prescription under every brand name. Its label carries a boxed warning about thyroid C-cell tumours.
Yes, both are semaglutide from the same maker. They are approved for different uses and sold in different pens, so their prices are not the same.
