Rule 1 protein labels pass a division test. The isolate claims 6 g of BCAAs in 25 g of protein, which is 24 percent. The blend claims 5 g in 24 g, about 21 percent. That checks a label against itself, not the powder in the tub.

Two powders from Rule One Proteins are easy to mix up. Per serving, R1 Protein Whey Isolate claims 25 g of protein, 12 g of essential amino acids and 6 g of BCAAs. The blend, sold as Whey Protein, claims 24 g, 11 g and 5 g. Divide each amino figure by its protein line. BCAAs come to 24 and about 21 percent. Essential amino acids come to 48 and about 46 percent. Every share sits under the protein figure, so each label agrees with itself.
The blend page prints 24,000 milligrams of amino acids beside its 24 g of protein. Divide by 1,000 and that is the same 24 g, written twice. It adds nothing on top.

Protein is usually measured by total nitrogen. A 2024 instrument study named the weak point: the method cannot tell nitrogen in protein from nitrogen in anything else. To test detectors, its authors spiked whey, beef and pea powders with melamine, urea, taurine and glycine, 819 samples in all. Their strongest benchtop unit could flag melamine and urea at close to 0.1 percent. Nobody sampled shop shelves, so it shows spiking can be done and caught, not how often it happens. Both Rule 1 pages footnote their amino figures as naturally occurring. Peptides Vietnam ordered no assay.

LGC, a UK lab group, runs three separate programmes. Its Informed Choice list, dated August 2026, carries 24 Rule 1 items. That programme screens for banned substances, not grams of protein. Informed Protein tests label claims, and its August 2026 list names six Rule 1 items, both whey powders among them. Six against 24 is a quarter as many. The tubs carry the Informed Choice mark alone. The stricter Informed Sport list had 506 brand headings that month, and Rule One Proteins was not one.

How wide is the price gap? On the brand's US store on 5 August 2026, 5 lb of the isolate was 129.99 US dollars and the blend 99.99. That is about 30 percent more for one extra gram of protein per serving. PV did not check prices in Vietnam.
Is an LGC mark a government approval? No. It is a private certification a company pays to enter.
How do I match a tub to the lab's records? Type the tub's batch number into the search on LGC's site. The lab answers, not the shop. PV could confirm no lot code layout or hologram for the brand, so it describes none. The figures, list dates and sources sit in the full Rule 1 label and lab list check, one of the brand reviews at Peptides Vietnam.
