PTHS recognizes that with dedication and hard work, students can fulfill their graduation requirements without following the traditional school day. With this in mind, a senior student can pursue a college or work related early release with the principal’s approval. Students must build a full schedule at PT and once all paperwork is completed and approved, early release will be added. All final decisions on early release will be made at the discretion of the PT administration.
Early college/work release counts as one, non graded credit. Athletes please refer to the student handbook and PIAA standards for credit requirements.
Students must take a minimum of 4 classes (not including study hall) per semester at PTHS. (Max Release time is 4 Periods)
