Click on 'Forms' - Option Plan 2
Through this alternative option, an educator or group of educators will develop a comprehensive three-year project that results in a body of evidence that documents job-embedded and/or formal professional development activities addressing the content area(s) and the district and/or school goals.
Option 2 involves a plan in which the educator(s) develop a customized long-term (up to three years) project that incorporates a goal of positive impact on student performance with the intent of professional growth. While the project may be completed in less than three years, a three-year timeline may include:
1. State the goal(s) related to improving student learning and achievement
2. Develop the plan of action.
1. Collect data/information.
2. Analyze and evaluate data/information.
1. Formulate the conclusion which addresses the impact on student learning and achievement.
Option 2 may also be a portfolio of short term projects designed to meet the goals outlined in the three-year plan.
The submitted plan will include a description of the three-year project, goals to be met at the conclusion of the project, and projected strategies for each year of the action research.
Progress reports are submitted at the end of years 1 and 2; a final report is submitted at the end of year 3.
When your final 3-Year Plan has been approved, you are ready to renew your certification(s) with the State of New Hampshire.
Once you have your new certification(s), please share the PDF with Lynn Davis (ldavis@pemibaker.org) via Google Drive, or as a hard copy.
*As of 5/31/19 licenses and IA’s will no longer be printed on paper. Once the new process is in place, those licenses “printed” on 5/31/19 or after will be emailed as a PDF to educators and uploaded into the educators’ EIS accounts (similar to our current process for Statements of Eligibility).
During the transition, there will be a period of time when licenses and IA’s will be issued but not delivered. Issued licenses and IA’s can be validated in the Educator Search until the educator receives the PDF. The Bureau of Credentialing requests that educators refrain from contacting their office to inquire when the license and IA’s will be emailed or to report missing license or IA so that they may best spend their efforts completing the transition as soon as possible.
