Health Education
with Mrs. Scambio
Campton Elementary School students in grades K-8 participate in Health Education lessons and activities that cover a wide range of health related topics and skills. Students are encouraged to relate the skills and knowledge they gain in class to their lives outside of school to enhance their overall wellness and that of their families and communities.
In order for students to gain the knowledge and skills necessary for making life-long health decisions the SAU #48 Health Curriculum Guidelines, the NH Health Education Curriculum Guidelines, as well as the National Health Education Standards are followed and used in creating engaging content, activities, projects, and lessons in physical, social, mental, emotional, community, environmental, and personal health.
