The winner of the Titan Times Poll "Best Pizza in Pembroke," is Poopsie’s Pizza! What's one of the most popular, easily accessible foods? The first thing that comes to mind may be a burger, french fries, and dare I say… pizza? Pizza is an incredibly favored food choice, and according to a survey conducted by OnePoll, one in three Americans actually consider themselves to be a Pizza expert. If pizza is such a popular food, then that also invites a frequent number of pizzerias. In Pembroke alone, we have a total of eleven separate establishments! With a schoolwide survey, we were able to determine which pizzeria Pembroke High deems the absolute best pizza.
Poopsie's Pizza came in close with a lead, a whopping 27 votes, and a 22 percentile, Poopsie’s came in with a close win. A commendable runner-up was Abbondanza Pizzeria, with 26 votes at 21%, And coming in third place, a classic staple in and the heart of our town, Pembroke House of Pizza, with 20 votes and 16%.

Winter Fashion Trends

The fall not only bring in cold weather but also seasonal fashion trends. The perfect cold-weather outfit consists of many things. Whether it is the right sweater, which UGGS to wear, or what color top to choose; it all matters to teenagers. We asked students what they think makes the perfect fall or winter outfit.
Sophomore Margret Jasie said, “A perfect fall outfit would be blue jeans, a cute sweater, a vest, and Uggs”.
For boys' fashion, junior Joey Dauphinee said, “Red plaid long sleeve button down to put over a white or gray hoodie with a hat and jeans or nice black pants with brown or white shoes."
After asking Elise Mckillop what her favorite part of winter fashion she said that she loves her Zara jeans and comfy sweaters.
After asking multiple Junior girls what their preferred style of Uggs was, the most common answers we received were: Mini Uggs, Tasman slippers, Scuffette slippers, Dakota slippers, and Neumel boots.
According to the September issue of InStyle,vests have become trendy. It seems that every time you look you can see someone wearing a vest. There are a variety of vests. Men, women, and children have all been wearing vests recently. There are cropped vests, leather vests, fuzzy vests, oversized vests, and puffer vests. They are worn in neutral and vibrant colors.
Fashion is a great way for a person to express themself. We are all excited to see the outfits that you continue to wear in the upcoming months.
Best Thanksgiving Dishes

As Thanksgiving approaches, get ready for your favorite festive foods. From stuffing to apple pie, there's a variety of dishes to choose from on Thanksgiving. Pembroke’s students shared their opinions about different Thanksgiving foods including their hottest Thanksgiving takes.
Senior Andrew Chahed gave his Thanksgiving hot take, “The meatballs are top 3.” This seems like a very hot take by Chahed to be honest. I don’t know what Thanksgiving dinner he’s having at his house but I want no part of it.
Chris McNamara, a junior who loves Thanksgiving also gave his opinion on the holiday, “Sometimes I’ll just eat plates of stuffing”
Seniors Will McNamara and Cam Voelkel shared the one food they are avoiding at all costs this Thanksgiving, “stuffing for sure, it's nasty.” It looks like stuffing is definitely a skip this year.
Thanksgiving is also one of senior Drew Palmeiri’s favorite holidays. He said, “Thanksgiving is definitely top 2, what could be over it? Christmas, yeah.” Whether it's your favorite holiday or your least, we can all agree that the stuffing is gross.
