Why am I receiving registration reminder emails?

On our system it shows that your registration has not been completed. If you have completed the registration process you will receive a confirmation email within 5 minutes.

Ensure that you have clicked the 'checkout' button to finalise the process. This is in the top right hand corner of the page.

Water Requirements

As a general rule, students will need 2-3 litres of water per day on camp. 

If students are participating in an overnight expedition, this is classed as 2 days and students will be required to carry a maximum of 6 litres of water.

• 1 Litre Water bottle and 5L Water Bladder

Food Requirements

The food requirements are specific to each individual camp and a menu for all programs can be found on each Year level page with details of what food is provided, and what needs to be brought from home.

Please ensure that you highlight any specific dietary requirements (no matter how minor) when you fill out the online registration form.

Medication

If your child has personal medication stored in the College Health Centre, this will automatically be taken on camp.

For any extra medication that needs to be administered within a 24 hour period (morning and nightly medication), a Camp Multiple Medication Agreement Form must be completed. This will be adminstered by one of our nurses who will attend camp.

Paracetamol, Ibuprofen and Antihistamine will be supplied by the College for use on the camp. Please ensure that you have consented to these medications in Consent2Go.

Periods on Camp

An information session will be run prior to camp with female students explaining some of the following points:

• Provide upfront information to girls prior to the commencement of camp 

• Identify which teachers can be approached for support

• How to manage surprises/issues

• What support mechanisms have been set up to help them 

• Emergency supply packs including hand sanitiser, resealable bags, hand warmers/ stick on heat packs, spare sanitary products (e.g. pads and tampons), sanitary disposal bags, sanitary wipes, pain relief medication (under teacher care)

As a College our aim is to remove the stigma around the topic of Periods and we hope to do this by openly discussing with students what steps are in place to help them on camp.

Bus Return

Buses return from camps by 3:00pm or earlier. 

• Where this time changes the College Office is notified and an SMS will be sent to families confirming the change.

Compulsory Experience

Pedare's Outdoor Experiences are compulsory experiences and as such is the only educational experience offered during the time of camp.
