April

Kindergarten 

have continued reinforcing skills of loud/soft, high/low, and steady beat. We are introducing basic rhythm notation and engaging in a variety of circle movement games.

First Grade

 explored the song "La Mariposa" and have been performing on the world drums and new percussion instruments. We reviewed the world map to learn more about Bolivia.

Second Grade

 learned the song and dance to Old Brass Wagon. We are also identifying patterns on the music staff.

Third and Fourth Grade  

Students are putting the finishing touches on their music research projects which will be ready for you to enjoy at the Spring Concert. When not working on their projects, we have reviewed and reinforced concepts with the Keyboard and Ukulele. 

Chorus 

we have been preparing for our Spring Concerts. We look forward to performing for our Family and Friends in May!
