What is the Opportunity Fair?

The goal of the Opportunity Fair at the PNW LSAMP Conference is to provide undergraduate STEM students affiliated with LSAMP the space to meet and interact with leading local industry, research, and employers. Giving students the opportunity to network with, meet, and for some looking for their next steps post graduation. By attending the LSAMP Opportunity fair LSAMP students will have a chance to meet with potential local researchers, employers, and industry leaders who are looking to support and connect with highly qualified undergraduate students. 

When and Where is the Opportunity Fair?

The opportunity fair will take place on Friday, April 7th from 12:15-1:15 pm at the Portland State University Native American Student Community Center (710 SW Jackson Street, Portland, Oregon 97201). We ask that vendors make plans to arrive at 11:30 am for set up.  A box lunch will be provided. Students will then have the chance to visit individual vendors at their booths. Maps of vendor locations in the community center will be provided for students.
