No, the 2023 PNW LSAMP Conference is free.
Who can attend the conference?
The conference is designed for PNW LSAMP Alliance faculty, staff, and students. However, if you are from another institution, email us at lsampconference@pdx.edu to let us know why you are hoping to attend and we will determine if we can accommodate your request.

Who can participate as a judge in the poster session?
All graduate students, postdocs, faculty, staff from all participating PNW LSAMP institutions, and anyone with professional expertise can volunteer as a judge. Visit the Info for Poster Judges Page for details.

Are meals included?
Yes, we will serve snacks and some meals. Below are the meals that will be provided:
Breakfast on Friday (4/7) & Saturday (4/8)
Lunch on Friday (4/7) & Saturday (4/8)
Dinner on Thursday (4/6) & Friday (4/7)
I have dietary restrictions. How do I inform conference staff?
The Registration Form has a section for you to note any dietary accommodations/food allergies. If you need to modify your response or have questions, email us at lsampconference@pdx.edu
I have a disability and need accommodations. How do I inform conference staff?
Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Accommodations are available. The Registration Form asks if you need an accommodation due to a disability to fully participate or enjoy the conference. If you select “yes” or ‘maybe” on the Registration Form, a staff person will reach out. If you want to modify your response or have questions, email us at lsampconference@pdx.edu
Is there a dress code for the conference?
There is no dress code but smart casual* dress is appropriate. More important than how you dress, we want you to show up and engage!
*Smart Casual is a dress code that typically comprises well-fitting, neat, and appropriate pieces that are slightly less formal than a business casual or business professional dress code.
