Science Program at Cawthra Park Secondary School
Cawthra Park Secondary School has an outstanding science program. Students have an opportunity to choose from a variety of courses that not only focus on teaching big ideas and core content knowledge, but also helping students to develop 21st Century Learning Skills thus contributing to students’ advancement as critical thinkers.
Students have opportunities to learn using many different tools and strategies, as well as ability to share their learning with others in a myriad of ways.
Teaching and Learning
Cawthra Science teachers create teaching and learning activities designed to meet the individual needs and learning styles of each student. Many courses use project-based and inquiry-based learning approaches to ensure all students are engaged and empowered to learn and succeed.
