This timeline is dedicated to showing the growth and progression of Black people in America throughout time. Each week new events will be added to the timeline; some events will debunk misconceptions, others reaffirm what you've been taught. We hope this timeline will teach you something you didn't know.

This site is designed to complement the Black History Timeline located in the McAneny Theatre, allowing both on-campus and remote members of the community to share the experience. "Highlighted Events" are events featured on the on-campus display and will be added to the site as they appear there.
