Several local scholarships are provided by community organizations, business and industry, and individuals. We encourage all PHS graduating seniors to apply for these scholarships. Some scholarships may have specific eligibility criteria, application restrictions, or require a specific college major but we encourage each student to look at these scholarships and see if they meet the criteria.
The scholarship application, or information on where to find the application online, will be posted online on this website, on the google classroom and in the hallway outside the counselors offices as they become available.
Only a few local scholarships will be available this fall. Most of the scholarships will be available beginning the end of December and increase each of the following months.
You should check back each week to see if any new scholarships have been posted.
It is important to pay close attention to due dates. Scholarship committees do not accept late applications. Some scholarships will be earlier than the date stated on the actual application. Pay close attention to this date. The date is earlier so the counselors can have time to send other information with the application or depending on the application submit it to a scholarship committee.
