The Plattsmouth Community School District is located in a rural community along Highway 75 that is within 10 minutes of Bellevue and 20 minutes of Omaha. This provides citizens with rural living that is in close proximity to the amenities of the Omaha metropolitan area. We have approximately 1480 students in PreK-12. We have one early childhood center, one elementary school (K-4), one middle school (5-8), one high school (9-12), an adult education/GED program, the Plattsmouth Academic, Curriculum, and Equipment Complex, and the Plattsmouth Learning and Universal Support Center. There is a strong emphasis on academics, culinary arts, fine arts, and athletics for students. In our high school, every student participates in one of three model career academy programs.
Our school district recently passed a $15 mil. bond issue that includes security enhancements and facilities upgrades on our campuses, including a $7 mil. skilled and technical sciences addition at our high school. We also have a synthetic turf baseball/softball field and a synthetic turf football/soccer/marching band field. Go to www.pcsd.org, and check out everything that we have to offer in our district. Please join us in Blue Devil Nation! We encourage you to request a tour of our facilities. You may send a tour request to rhasty@pcsd.org. Thank you for your interest in the Plattsmouth Community Schools.
