My Dream Job

My dream job is a pilot. I like to see the world, and I feel like I'm flying. I work in Mexico and fly different planes. The salary is $220,000 per year. I need training and education. I don't know the hours and the days. I would like to fly 3 days a week maybe from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m.

Uriel's neighborhood

I live in Troutdale. I only have one neighbor. Nearby is the center of Troutdale, where there are often activities for the whole family. The Sandy River is very close to me, and it is a pleasant place to swim, especially in the summer. I love my neighborhood because it is very quiet and beautiful.

Hello! My name is Daniel, but I want my teacher and classmates to call me “De La Rosa.” I live in Portland. My neighborhood is very calm. Behind my apartment is a pool. Next to my apartment is an office. In front of my apartment, there is a restaurant.

I live on the second floor. I like to have plants in my apartment. The neighbor next to my place is a family with one child. They are nice and friendly. I enjoy my neighborhood.

My neighborhood

I live in SE Portland. I am from Haiti. There are not many Haitians who live here in my neighborhood. I live with my wife, my brother-in-law, and my friend. I live in a large apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, a balcony, and a small storage space. There is parking. There is a pool for the community.

There are many things to see in my neighborhood. Nearby, there is an Asian food supermarket. There is a bar, a laundromat, and a 7-Eleven. There is a Mexican food restaurant. There is also a St. Vincent de Paul Thrift store. There is an Eco car wash and a gas station. There is a school to learn Chinese Kung Fu. For sports, there is a football field and a baseball field. Next to these, there is a park for children. There are bus stops for the #9 and #74. My neighborhood is busy, but I live in a quiet area. Yes, I like my neighborhood.

Ayarli's neighborhood

I live in Portland. I live in a big house, it has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a big living room, and a nice, spacious kitchen. Right outside, there’s a bus stop for the #73. There is a Safeway supermarket, a gas station, and a 7-Eleven. I like my neighborhood because there are many stores nearby, and it’s super quiet and clean.

I live in Portland. My home is behind the Bun Bo Hue restaurant. My neighborhood is quiet. About 1 mile away is a supermarket called Thuan Phat that serves Vietnamese food. About half a mile away is a convenience store. Sometimes, I go there to buy beers with my husband. I like my neighborhood because the people are polite and civilized. There is no parking on my property. We can only park in front of our house. There are 2% of Vietnamese people who live in Portland. In SE Portland, there are many Vietnamese restaurants.

Next to where I live, there is a fire station. There is also a small park with a playground behind my place. The Leach Botanical Garden is close to where I live. I live in Portland near Providence Park. And when there are soccer games it's very busy. I live on Alder St. across the street . There's a florist with fresh flowers. Fred Meyers is nearby. My neighborhood has homeless people. The Max train runs right behind my apartment. I like where I live because it's very central to everything.

I live in Tigard, Oregon. There are two buildings near me. Building A is in front of my building B and building C is across from my building. My building is on the corner of SW Canterbury Ln and SW Murdock Street. My apartment in building B is on the first floor and I have four neighbors. Apartment b-6 is in front of my apartment building B. The Rise Church is near my apartment. SW Pacific Hwy is about 120 yards away. There's a gas station on the corner street. Goodwill is behind the gas station. Domino's Pizza, Tigard Donut and Blazin Gyros are on Pacific Hwy. The apartment building is near a bike lane and the end of the street. My neighborhood is quiet.
