Look at every turn as an opportunity to learn, to create, and to grow.

This is a capstone course, and it is the culmination of your multimedia program. Please note, this is not a portfolio class.
The course is focused on producing a completed project that is polished and portfolio-ready using either a new project you want to create, a previously started project that you want to complete, or expanding on a project you've finished before that is related to your professional interests.
The course covers planning, researching, pitching, and creating a project that meets industry and accessibility standards.
As a capstone course, it marks the completion of the multimedia degree or pathway certificate.

From brainstorming and planning to creating, refining, and finalizing, you'll follow a step-by-step process to develop a polished, portfolio-ready project.
Along the way, you’ll learn how to meet industry standards, develop project documentation, develop milestones, and ensure your project complies with accessibility guidelines.
By the end of the course, you’ll have a multimedia project you can showcase as a reflection of your skills and career goals.
Each phase is designed to progressively build your advanced project.
Initiation Phase:
Define your project’s foundation through the project charter, project pitch, and begin working on the project.
Planning Phase:
Submit a Project Roadmap with detailed risks, timelines, and milestones, and continue working on your project.
Implementation Phase:
Submit draft deliverables, attend project check-ins and peer reviews, refine work through feedback, and complete progress reflections.
Closing Phase:
Finalize your capstone project and submit your polished project and your project packet deliverables.
