About

Who are we? We’re the Golden Gate Region (GGR) Porsche Club, an organization for Porsche owners affiliated with the Porsche Club of America – it’s as simple as that. As a Porsche owner, if you’re interested in us, we’re interested in you.

What do we do? We race our cars, conduct rallies, autocrosses and fun-runs; host social activities, sponsor driver education programs and concourses, as well as Porsche restoration and technical sessions. Like the Porsche Club of America (PCA), the GGR experience celebrates the cars and the people, creating a true fellowship for those who participate.

GGR serves San Francisco, San Mateo and Santa Clara counties in Northern California. We are a club totaling 3,100+ members and affiliate members registered in 15+ countries. Everyone wants to be associated with GGR, it seems.

Here at GGR, we provide a wide range of activities. Although we try to offer something for everyone, we place more emphasis on events that offer you the opportunity to stretch the limits of the overall driving experience and help you learn to drive your Porsche to its full potential. But we haven’t forgotten the social aspect. There are plenty of brunches, concourses, picnics, BBQs and celebrations.
