Developed during the summer of 2020 to support teachers, families and students, PaTTAN Reads is a series of read-aloud videos with embedded ASL and a collection of aligned resources. The literacy team partnered with Jennifer Craig, from our Deaf and Hard of Hearing initiative, and Brain Slavinsky to imbed ASL directly into the videos, featuring some or your favorite PaTTAN consultants from across the state. Each video has an accompanying Waklet, that contains several resources to build background knowledge and support teachers' instruction for students, parents and educators. Enjoy!
