Learn from the recordings from the 20th anniversary of Scarborough's Reading Rope! For each session, PaTTAN invited a national expert to help break down a strand of the rope and talk about the developments in research and understanding over the last 20 years.

This ground-breaking book study event series, aligned to the Science of Reading for Language Learners, was conducted during the 2020-2021 school year.  PaTTAN was honored to host the author: Dr. Elsa Cardenas Hagan, across several months.  Dr. Cardenas-Hagan facilitated collaborative conversations with contributors to the book and National Experts to around  the evidence-based practices, resources and current research to support explicit instruction for Students with Diverse Language Needs.
