Agora Cyber Charter School
RISE- Recruiting Innovative Special Educators
Widener University will provide opportunities for special education majors to student teach, observe classrooms, and/or participate in/lead the Agora ELOs.
Carlow University
Classroom Engagement with Special Education Students
Students in Carlow's Speech and Language Clinic will partner with students with learning disabilities in the Campus Lab School to research their specific learning challenges and use research-based techniques for intervention.

Post-secondary students who are special education majors will have the opportunity to participate in professional learning opportunities provided by choosing two professional learning workshops from the CIU20 Professional Learning Calendar.

DeSales University Education Program
Students who are pursuing special education certification will research a topic of interest and develop learning modules to share with cooperating classroom teachers, administrators, and/or parents of their field population.

Related Services Paraprofessionals and Registered Behavior Technician We NEED You Attract Prepare Retain Initiative
Two new related professional programs will be developed and targeted to be implemented in the Fall of 2022: Paraprofessional Program and Registered Behavior Technician.
Eastern University
Developing Future Educators in EDUC 201 & 384
Current students will be provided more robust ELOs through coursework field experiences. The two partner LEAs will train the students to function as Teaching Assistants in the K-12 classroom, supervised by a mentor teacher. A formalized, credit-bearing Eastern University Teaching Assistant (TA) position for the EDUC 201 course will also be provided.
Immaculata University
Academic Development
Four asynchronous special education courses for para educators interested in going into special education will be developed. The IU will develop alternative pathways with local LEAs through partnerships, outreach programs, and meetings.
Holy Family University
Sensory Based Experience - Winter Theme
Students will participate in a sensory-based experiences, designed and supervised by a university professor, and led by undergraduate and high school students.
Robert Morris University
Learning Collaborative
Students from The Neighborhood Academy will attend a RMU teacher preparation methods class focused on working with students with disabilities. They will collaborate with the special education teacher candidates, university professor, and DSHS teacher in developing a lesson and will go to DSHS to implement the lesson with the teacher candidate.

Baldwin-Whitehall School District
IGNITE Special Education Pathway
Students will have the opportunity to take two college in high school courses in alignment with current elective courses in their 11th and 12th grade years. Both courses will be taught by high school and Community College of Allegheny County faculty.
Chester Upland School District
CUSD Special Education Experiential Learning Opportunity
Chester Upland will collaborate with Immaculata University to implement a special education experiential learning opportunity that will include a dual enrollment program and a Special Education Experiential Learning Conference on Immaculata's campus.
Daniel Boone School District
Dual Credit Classes
Dual enrollment courses (Intro to Education and Intro to Special Education) will be offered at the DBHS through RACC (Reading Area Community College) taught by DBHS teachers. Students will have the opportunity to earn college-level credit while completing requirements for high school graduation.
High School Students will have the opportunity to enroll in University Courses through a University partnership. In 2023 GM will offer a program to support paraprofessional certification for interested students.
Northern Tioga
Special Education Internship Opportunities
High school students will have the opportunity to work with students with disabilities during several experiences, including STEM activities and game nights which will be held at Mansfield University. Activities will be planned and provided by the university's CEC Chapter. Mentorship will be provided by CEC members during these face-to-face activities. Participants will also have access to three additional dual enrollment courses.

Accommodations Practice Techniques in Action- Fieldtrip to Please Touch Museum of Philadelphia
Students will participate in a field trip and a workshop that explores the power of informal learning strategies, highlighting how these can supplement and enhance classroom lessons.

Insights to Behavior and Special Education
Lessons that provide insights to behavior and special education will be provided within the curriculum of the Teacher Leadership Academy programs and the Early Childhood Care and Education programs. Students will advance their knowledge and understanding of special education and how to address the social emotional, behavioral, and learning of students with disabilities.
Chester County Intermediate Unit 24
Sensory Path Project
Secondary students within the Teacher Leadership Academy programs and the Early Childhood Care and Education programs will research and design a sensory path project to be implemented at a local elementary school. As a result, students will advance their knowledge and understanding of special education as it relates to sensory sensitivity and will be introduced to strategies to support those with exceptionalities.

Partnership with Penn West- Remake Learning Day
IU 6 will partner with Clarion (Penn West) for a "Remake Learning" day. Students will have the opportunity to meet and talk to professionals in differing fields in special education.

Regular Internship
Two interns will be recruited per semester for the Special Services Department to learn how services are provided and how the department works in conjunction with the rest of the school.

Peer Tutoring
During the BUG (Bring Up Grades) period, high school students will have the opportunity to volunteer and tutor (in reading, writing and math) in the life skills classrooms.
Bethel Park School District
Replicated Reality - PAES Lab
Peers Partners will work with students with disabilities in the PAES lab, focusing on finance, employment, and budgeting.
Dubois Area SD
Learning Lab
Students will be provided the opportunity to work with special education staff, implementing small group activities. Activities may include topics such as daily living skills, pre-vocational skills, and social skills in an inclusive environment.
General McLane School District
FSE Education Academy
An elective class will provide hands-on experiences working with students with disabilities in the classroom. The participants will assist the Special Education teachers within the classroom to deliver instruction and gain real life experiences working with students with disabilities.

Rising Riverside Educators
High school students will be paired with recommended elementary students who need reinforcement and remediation of foundational skills. The high school students can continue their experiences during the summer of 2023 with various summer camp opportunities.
