The User Management Page is a comprehensive interface designed specifically for users with an Administrator role. It provides a range of functionalities to effectively manage the user base within the system. Administrators can add new users by entering their details and assigning appropriate roles or permissions. Additionally, they can activate or deactivate existing user accounts, allowing for better control over access to the system. The page also enables administrators to modify user permissions, ensuring that each user has the necessary access rights in accordance with their role or responsibilities. Overall, the User Management Page serves as a central hub for administering user accounts and maintaining a secure and organized user environment.

To manage participants efficiently, administrators are provided with a comprehensive dashboard tool. This dashboard enables them to quickly locate participants by email address or filters can be applied to sort users based on their status (such as Invited, Active, Inactive or Pending and directly add new users to the system with ease. This streamlined setup simplifies user management, allowing Administrators to monitor participant activity, update user information, and control access levels as needed. By centralizing these functions in an intuitive interface, administrators can ensure a smooth and organized user management process, enhancing overall system security and user experience.

The following participant details are displayed in the list view, with each participant occupying a single row:

Participant Status:

Invited - An Administrator has added a new user and an invitation has been sent to the user whereby an activation email has been sent, and the user must verify their email through the provided link and complete the registration process.
Active - The user completed the registration form and received administrative approval. The user has successfully created a password and logged in for the first time.
Inactive - The user has been deactivated by an Administrator.
Pending - The user is registered but is awaiting approval by an Administrator

Add Users

Click on the “Add Users” button to open the “Add Users” popup window to send an invitation to a User.
Enter the new User's email address, role and comments, which are optional and press "Send Invite" to invite a User.
An email invitation is sent asking the User to complete the registration process.
If an institution has implemented mandatory Single Sign-On (SSO), administrators must select the "Login Only SSO" option. New users should follow institution's SSO guidelines to complete the login process.
At this stage the User status will be displayed as “Invited” and an email with activation link should be sent to the invited User. Once the link is clicked, user should be navigated to create new password.

Four actions are available in the last column of the User Management page.

1. Reset User Password
2. Share reset password link to user
3. Edit User
4. Activate/Deactivate User

If a User's status is Active, “Deactivate User” will appear in red so a user can be deactivated from the User Management page.

If a User's status is Deactive, “Activate User” will appear in green so a user can be activated from the User Management page.
