SLIDe Management
Users having the role of either Administrator and Coordinator have access to 'Unmapped Slides' which refers to scanned digital slides that have been successfully uploaded to the image management system but are not yet linked to a specific case or patient record. These slides are stored within the system and are awaiting manual association with the appropriate case.
Accessing and Managing Unmapped Slides
Viewing Unmapped Slides
Navigate to the 'Unmapped Slides' tab to see a list of slides that have been scanned but not yet assigned to a case.
Under the 'Actions' column, click 'View' to open the slide in the viewer.
Editing Slide Information
Click 'Edit' to manually enter the case number or barcode that the slide should be associated with.
Removing Unmapped Slides
Click 'Remove' to move the slide to the 'Deleted Slides' tab.
This process ensures that all scanned slides are appropriately categorized and linked to their corresponding cases.
