My name is Anastasia McWilliams, and I've been a teacher at Pathfinder for 12 years. I was born in Kiev, Ukraine and immigrated with my parents to Amherst, MA when I was fourteen years old. My dad was very fortunate to secure a visa to work as an electrical engineer at UMass Amherst, so my mom, sister and I came to the US to live with him and pursue our American dream as a family. After high school, I went on to study math and education at Mount Holyoke College. While working as a teacher at Pathfinder, I also completed my graduate degree in math and education at Western New England University.
In my free time I like to read, listen to music, go to the gym, hang out at coffee shops, watch bad reality TV shows, and travel. I am a wife to a wonderful man, who is a U.S. army veteran, and have a hyperactive and ridiculously stubborn French bulldog for a pet.
My favorite color is black, favorite food is pizza and favorite type of music is electronic and R&B.
