Matilda

Physical description… Matilda is a 14-year-old girl living in Philadelphia, strong, scared, courageous, and is not scared to face anything, 

Personality description (traits)...  Matilda is a smart, stubborn, quiet, and helpful young girl who has a lot of energy. She always tries to make sure everyone is happy and has what they need.

Throughout the story, Matilda is courageous, smart, and outgoing. Matilda goes through a lot during the book and learns to take care of herself before others. At the beginning of the book, Matilda's mom is in charge of her, and Matilda does whatever her mom wants her to do. In the middle of the book, Matilda cares for Nell, Robert, and William while they are sick with yellow fever. But by the end of the book, Matilda finally does what she wants, which is to get the coffeehouse going again.
