This is a text messaging service that I use to send students reminders about upcoming assignments, grades being due, changes to class, and other information that needs to out faster than a regular email.
I work hard to keep the number of messages to an absolute minimum. The ones I do send, however, are pretty important stuff, and have saved more than a few students from some ugly grades!!
Signing up is OPTIONAL, but highly recommended!
This is a tool we are all familiar with. I use Schoology to share collect work and share out assessments like quizzes.
Instructions for work are often here on my website, but Schoology is where the result of your efforts go.
This is a website hosted by another teacher who has amassed an endless (nearly) supply of practice problems over his career. Ian Guch has hosted this site for a long time, and it is a great place to find some extra practice on ALL topics, most of which come with answers. Enjoy!
Throughout the year we will be using spreadsheets and graphs to share and explain meaning behind data. Google Sheets has emerged over the last decade as a big player in this field, and we will spend time this year learning how to use it.
We will have discussion in class about how to use Google Sheets, but feel free to reference the vids and examples shared here for extra help.
