Junior Thespian Troupe #89693

International Junior Thespian Society is a theatre based honor society that promotes excellence in academics and theatrical performances. Thespian troupe members serve the community through performance. Students must demonstrate an academic standard and meet theatrical experience requirements for membership. 

Meeting Dates and Times: 1st Thursday of the month, during Middle School Lunch

Grades Eligible: 6th - 8th grade students

Technical Theatre Club

PPA middle school students will have the opportunity to learn the basics of technical theatre including lighting, sound, painting, props creation and more. Students will learn through lecture and hands-on experience. Students will be required to assist with the tech for at least 1 evening show minimum each semester. 

Fee: $25 per semester

Meeting Dates and Times: Tuesdays 4:00pm - 5:00pm

Grades Eligible: 5th - 8th grade students

Improv Club

Improv Club will give students the opportunity to learn improv techniques, play improv games, improve their stage presence, and build performance skills and confidence. Students will get the chance to explore improv as a form of expression and performance. Students will learn the basics/rules of improv, improv games, and uses for improv in performances. 

Fee: $25 per semester

Meeting Dates and Times: Fridays 4:00-4:45pm

Grades Eligible: 5th - 8th grade students
