This page is for PA PTA Region Reflections Chairs.
The Region Reflections Chair is the main contact person regarding the PA PTA Reflections program for all participating units in that region, while working closely with the Region Director/contact person and the chair of the Arts in Education Committee/PA PTA Reflections Chair.
S/he will communicate the details for the Reflections program each year, including instructions and entry advancement deadlines set for the local and region entry advancement.
S/he will recruit qualified people to serve as the region judges, coordinate region level judging, and then forward the advancing entries to the state level following the process and deadlines set by the PA PTA Arts in Education Committee.
S/he must complete the required forms provided by PA PTA Reflections Arts in Education Committee to advance their region's entries and order the appropriate region level awards.
S/he will work with the Region Director/contact person to plan an annual Reflections recognition event for the region winners and deliver/mail any region medals and/or state awards that were not claimed at the region and state events to the students before the end of the current school year.
The Region Reflections Chair and the Region Director/contact person will determine a budget for all region Reflections events in advance and submit all receipts for reimbursement according to the PA PTA rules.
The Region Reflections Chair and the Region Director/contact person will work together to submit public releases to local/regional media to recognize student winners from their region.
