We are so happy you're here and will be happy to support you as you encourage your students to explore the arts through the Reflections Program.
PTA Reflections can be a powerful tool for your PTA/PTSA to increase the PTA/PTSA visibility in your school(s) and community in addition to the direct student benefits of focusing on creativity and celebrating achievement.

PTA Reflections theme for 2025-26

2025-26 Region Finder
Local units will run their program in a way that is best for their community. They may choose between either a paper and/or an online fillable entry form and choose between collecting photography and visual arts artwork for in-person judging and/or displays or just digital copies. Various entry forms are available to meet your needs in the Guide linked above, along with detailed instructions.
The paper form MUST be presented to students with the first 5 pages as it contains the legal disclaimers and official rules, page 6 is extra space for the artist statement. Some schools present pages 1-4 digitally, and only print pages 5-6 (double-sided).
However, to advance to the Region level all entry data must be typed into the Inventory Sheet. No photos or scanned images of the paper forms will be accepted by the Region Chairs.
Local units will decide how they recognize their participants and students with advancing entries. Awards, prizes, and celebrations are determined and paid for by the local PTA/PTSA units.
YOUR REFLECTIONS TEAM
No matter the size of your program, you'll want to identify one person who will lead the effort for your unit as the chairperson. The two best areas to bring in a committee are promotion and celebration. Inviting other parents and teachers to help opens the door to future volunteerism and grows the PTA community.
Reflections promotions look different for different PTAs. Some ideas include asking a volunteer to assist with creating flyers and social media posts. They may also assist at workshops or a display table during a school open house or other afterschool event. There is no limit to the creative fun to offer students.
Reflections Celebrations are another great time to invite additional volunteers to help. The committee can distribute the programs, check-in students (verify name pronunciation) and read the names during the award presentations, set up a photo station, refreshments, and clean-up.
Check the Guide for detailed instructions! The appendix has so many gems.
