We start the year by introducing the Science Laboratory and the hazards that we need to be aware of in the Laboratory environment. We also think about the role of Science in the world we live in and the possible career pathways that require scientific knowledge. We learn how Scientists conduct experiments to test theories and how these experiments follow a plan to ensure they produce evidence that is both valid and reliable.
