Should a student fail an exam, 20 calendar days must pass before the exam is attempted again. The exam can be attempted on the 21st day.
A student may only attempt to pass an exam 3 times per school year.
For more guidelines on Florida's testing procedures, review these docs:
In order to give enough time to administer 3 rounds of testing to each student, with the appropriate wait period in between each exam, please start testing, and therefore teaching, the test material early. It is a best practice to begin early in the Fall and complete testing before the testing season in Spring.
The teacher of record sets up the testing session. Each student is given a testing license through the testing website and assigned to the school's (non-teacher of record) CIW proctor. If the school is in need of more testing licenses please contact Anthony Asci or Moise DeRosier and request them. Please set up your test sessions at least 3 days before testing. A guide for setting up exams is below.
