Proctoring Policy

According to the State Board Rules, anyone who is involved in the administration of industry certification testing must complete the annual industry certification test security and administration training. That training is available through our eLM platform. Teachers and proctors must annually sign the State's test security form. The teacher of record cannot be the proctor for their students. Another SDPBC employee needs to become a Proctor in order to administer the test. The teacher of record may be in the room to assist with classroom management and technical issues, but may not be the assigned proctor for the test. Please have the applicant complete the process to become a proctor no later than 15 days before scheduling an exam. This gives the vendor time to add them to the system.
