Proctor Policies

Proctoring Policy

The teacher of record cannot be the proctor for their students’ CIW test. Another SDPBC employee needs to become a CIW Proctor in order to administer the test. The teacher of record may be in the room to assist with classroom management and technical issues, but may not be the assigned proctor for the test. Please have the proctor complete the process to become a CIW proctor no later than 15 days before scheduling an exam. This gives CIW time to add them to the system.

Setting Up Tests

The teacher of record sets up the testing session. In order to assign the tests the teacher of record will need to become a CIW proctor. Each student is given a testing license through the testing website and assigned to the school's (non-teacher of record) CIW proctor. If the school is in need of more testing licenses please request them on the second form on this LINK. Please set up your test sessions at least 3 days before testing.
