Airai Elementary School is located at the southernmost tip of Babeldaob in the State of Airai. The school offers a stunning view of the rock islands and has direct visibility of Palau International Airport. It has been serving the community for decades, having been established in 1964, although its history dates back to September 1946, just after World War II. Initially, the school operated in the old Japanese Communications building in Ked, Airai. Today, the school comprises several buildings, including a main building that contains the school office, a resource center, ten classrooms, a computer lab, and a cafeteria. Additionally, there are six student restrooms, a bus stop, a gymnasium, and a student center that connects to the school library.
