How to log on to KU Guest

Find KU Guest on your PC / Mobile

1. Double click on your network icon
2. Double click on ”KU Guest”
3. click on ”connect”

Set up your KU Guest account

1. If your browser does not show the clearpass page type in a fixed url into your browser, e.g. abc.com this may trigger the page to load
2. Type in your:

Name

Mobile phone number (remember country code)

E-mail adress (will become your KU Guest username)

1. Accept terms of use
2. Click on “Registrer”

Find your password on your mobile phone or via email

1. Open SMS or mail from KU Guest with your password

Log on to KU Guest

1. Type in your username (the email you listed when creating your account)
2. Type in your password
3. Click on ”log på”

Eduroam

Before you can use eduroam, you must install a small program the eduroam Configuration Assistant Tool (CAT) on your device. The program is supported by labtop, smartphone and tablet

Go to eduroam CAT og select “eduroam user: download your installer installer”

Select institute “University of Copenhagen”

Select “Download your eduroam installer”

Windows

After your Windows PC has finished downloading the small program from eduroam CAT, you then open up the program and follow these simple steps:

Run the program and click Next

Enter your user name. (e.g abc123@ku.dk). Your username is the same as the one you use to log on University or including the @eud @ac.uk etc. Click Install

The installation has started

Installation is complete. Click Finish.

Installation complete - you can now access the wireless networks, eduroam from your wireless network list

Mac

Set up eduroam on Mac – El Capitan, Yosemite & Mavericks

1. To setup Eduroam, open the System Preferences from the Apple menu and choose Network, you can also open the system preferences from the Mac Dock bar by clicking on it’s Icon

2. On the left hand part of the window choose Wi-Fi, turn Wi-Fi on if it is not turned on.

3. Click on the Network Name and choose eduroam.

4. Provide your full user:

Abc999@ku.dk

And Password, click on the join button

5. Click Continue the Verify Certificate, you will be asked to authenticate, provide your Password and click on the Apply Button.
