Throughout my time at Padua Academy, photography has been an essential part of my journey in media production. As a member of PATV, I had the opportunity to begin a hobby in photography and capture key moments from school events, sports games, and student life. From learning the elements of composition to refining my skills in action and street photography, I have used my work to visually tell the stories of our community and make students feel recognized. My photos have been featured on Padua's social media platforms, helping to boost engagement and demonstrate the spirit of our school. 

During my internship at Titus Sports Academy, I had the unique opportunity to develop and refine my social media skills in a dynamic, sports-focused environment. This role has given me hands-on experience in creating content that engages a diverse audience. I developed skills of shooting and editing in a short amount of time to put together a post. One of the most rewarding aspects of this internship has been learning from the marketing team and contributing my ideas to build campaigns that promote training programs, events, and highlight the success stories of athletes. Whether it’s crafting posts for Instagram, or contributing to video content for TikTok, I’ve learned how to adapt my content for different platforms to reach the widest possible audience.

My community involvement through photography has allowed me to capture moments at a variety of events. I had the opportunity to photograph the University of Delaware football games, where I focused on the mascot, the players, and the crowd involvement. Additionally, I photographed several banquets, capturing candid moments, speeches, and the celebrations/awards. One of the most significant experiences was photographing the Bishop during an anniversary mass, where I documented intimate moments of the couples being blessed and a memory for the attendees. These experiences have deepened my connection to the community and enhanced my understanding of photography as a tool for preserving and sharing important memories.
