Entire books, downloadable as PDFs or viewable online. You may find a specific chapter that's perfect for your topic - use the tables of contents!

MLA Formatting

Purdue OWL has information about citing books, articles, websites, and more - even audio files. Below is an example of the format for an MLA citation of an electronic encyclopedia or magazine article.

All of these databases offer options for saving or email an article. These are much better options than bookmarking the page or copying the URL. The databases will also include a link to an MLA-formatted citation. Look for these options near the top of the article you are reading.
