What is the goal of this project?
This project is a way of "giving psychology away" by making it accessible and teaching you how to increase your pro-environmental behaviors, what I refer to as PEBs, to help stop the planet's degradation. While increasing PEBs may be difficult on our own, this project is backed by science and is specially formulated to ensure that you not only will know more about the environment but will do infinitely more PEBs by the time you're finished.
What's the timeline of this project?
The first thing you'll do is read the e-book coupled with this project, which is linked here for easy access. In four brief and accessible chapters, it lays out the basic cognitive science behind increasing PEBs so you'll understand why the project works so well.
Second, you'll complete weekly workbook pages that consist of various activities designed to increase your nature connectedness, knowledge of the environment, and PEBs. There are a total of 48 workbook pages, making up a year-long pro-environmental journey. Because there is only one workbook page per week, it is far less overwhelming and is reasonable to achieve.
