Studies Weekly is a unique, core curriculum designed for elementary and middle school students (PreK through 6th grade). The standout feature of Studies Weekly is its format: instead of a heavy, traditional textbook, the curriculum is delivered as a series of colorful, newspaper- or magazine-style periodicals.

How It Works 

• The "Consumable" Print Format: Because the curriculum comes as a thin newspaper, students are actively encouraged to interact with it. They can highlight text, write in the margins, circle vocabulary words, cut out pictures for poster projects, and complete crosswords or quizzes directly on the paper.

• Studies Weekly Online: Depending on your curriculum order, it may include access to an online portal with audio readers (great for struggling readers), instructional videos, primary source images/documents, and digital assessments.

• Open-and-Go Lesson Plans: The teacher/parent editions provide clear, daily lesson plans that require very little prep time.

• Studies Weekly is available for TK-8 for Social Studies in California.
