Studies Weekly Overview
Studies Weekly is a unique, core curriculum designed for elementary and middle school students (PreK through 6th grade). The standout feature of Studies Weekly is its format: instead of a heavy, traditional textbook, the curriculum is delivered as a series of colorful, newspaper- or magazine-style periodicals.
The "Consumable" Print Format: Because the curriculum comes as a thin newspaper, students are actively encouraged to interact with it. They can highlight text, write in the margins, circle vocabulary words, cut out pictures for poster projects, and complete crosswords or quizzes directly on the paper.
Studies Weekly Online: Depending on your curriculum order, it may include access to an online portal with audio readers (great for struggling readers), instructional videos, primary source images/documents, and digital assessments.
Open-and-Go Lesson Plans: The teacher/parent editions provide clear, daily lesson plans that require very little prep time.
Studies Weekly is available for TK-8 for Social Studies in California.
Studies Weekly is available for K-6 for Science.

Studies Weekly Health & Wellness for TK
Studies Weekly Health and Wellness for TK is a gentle, interactive introduction to healthy habits and social skills for four- and five-year-olds. Delivered through colorful, bite-sized weekly magazines, the program uses stories, songs, and play-based activities to teach two core areas:
Social-Emotional Learning (SEL): Helping young children identify big feelings, share, show respect, and learn how to ask adults for help.
Physical Health & Safety: Teaching basic nutrition, the importance of rest, body awareness, and simple safety rules.
It is designed to be highly active and tactile, making it easy for parents to instill lifelong physical and emotional wellness habits from an early age.

📁 Pro-Tip on Storage: Because you receive a big stack of thin papers at the beginning of the year, they can easily get lost or wrinkled. Buy a cheap 3-ring binder and a three-hole punch. Punch the periodicals ahead of time and keep them organized by week so your child can easily grab the next one.
