NYC Scholarship Account

As an Our World Neighborhood Charter School student, your child has been automatically enrolled in the Save for College Program (unless you opted out), a college and career scholarship and savings program.

The next step is for you, as the parent or guardian, to activate your child’s free NYC Scholarship Account.

Their NYC Scholarship Account has an initial allocation of $100, and you receive an additional $25

reward for activating and viewing their account.

To activate and view your child’s NYC Scholarship Account, follow the steps below. You can also refer to

this step-by-step guide and video.

Building Block 1 - To Activate and View your child’s NYC Scholarship Account:

1. Go to nyckidsrise.org/activate

2. You will then see a Registration box. Enter your child's home ZIP code, date of birth, and

nine-digit Student ID Number (OSIS Number), then click Submit

3. Enter your name and email address, and create a password

4. Read and accept the Terms of Use, then click Create User Profile

5. You have now completed Building Block 1! Within a week, you will see the $25 reward from NYC

Kids RISE when you log back into Savings Tracker.

Once you activate your child’s account, you can log in regularly and monitor the funds and earnings.

Account (or your child’s OSIS number).
