Pillar of the Month Assembly
During the course of the past month, the 5th Grade team has focused more and more on implementing intentional practices to support students on the upcoming state tests. We've incorporated more focus on ELA test prep in our Social Studies curriculum. We've also added previous state test samples into our Math periods, as well as our homework packets. In ELA, students have navigated previous state exam excerpts to better understand expectations for their upcoming tests, and we've also held discussion on test anxiety and how to best support ourselves individually to best show up for success on the state tests.
