Ms. Jordan, Ms. Draffen, Mr. Abraham & Teacher Martin
Students delved into their own cultural identities by creating projects that explored six key aspects: social organization, traditions and values, language, religion, art and literature, and forms of government. They then connected these broader cultural elements to their own lives. Through "I Am" poems, students expressed their unique cultural and familial backgrounds. Additionally, an identity map activity encouraged students to define themselves using descriptive words, highlighting both their individuality and their connections to others.
