This chart shows the obesity rates from 1999 to 2016. As you can see, the obesity rates has raised very high. The only time when it dropped was in 2005. As you can see, the obesity rates have increased and are higher than ever.
This shows how much time we get on average of leisure time. It shows here that for a day, that is usually 4 hours and 59 minutes. If we could use an hour of this time to socialize and exercise, it could make a big different in our health.
As you can see from the image, many people don't spend enough time in the average week exercising and don't get enough vegetables per day (getting 3 portions per day instead of 4 or 5. Although, from the amount of alcohol consumed and cigars smoked (often forms of socializing, done in groups), the average human does socialize a good amount in a week, although not in the best ways. Socializing is also more of an area concern as you get older and your friend connections aren't as strong.
