Library Policies

Checking out books

• Grades TK -1 can check out one book per week. They may not take them home. 

• TK and Kindergarten chooses books from the tables only.  

• Grades 2-5 can check out two books per week. They may take them home. 

• Students are welcome to renew books for up to three weeks (ask Ms Leigh for an exception if you are still reading!)

• Students may only have one graphic novel and one cookbook checked out at a time

Overdue and lost books

• Our library receives $0 to purchase books from the district, so we rely on the generous contributions from the PTA to purchase books. Every book is precious! Please do your best to return books on time!

• I will send out notices home when a book is overdue after two weeks.

If you have more than two lost books, I must have a conversation with your parent or caregiver before you can check out more books.
